Amaya’s Superman Slot for Marvel Comics Fans

Before Amaya Gaming brought out its latest release, Superman: Last Son of Krypton, the developer created another video slot themed after the Man of Steel, entitled simply “Superman”. This original slot is still available for players to enjoy online and remains a popular favourite.

Superman is a typical five-reel video slot with 50 fixed paylines and a top payout of 10 000 coins. This slot features wild and scatter symbols, free spins, multipliers, and an extra Superman bonus round.

A Metropolitan Setting

Superman is also the most valuable five-of-a-kind symbol in the game, yielding the top payout of 10 000 coins.

Scatter Symbol to the Rescue

The famous red “S” emblazoned on Superman’s suit plays the role of the scatter symbol in this slot. This highly valuable symbol can multiply winnings by up to 100 and triggers 10 free spins when it appears on Reels 2, 3 and 4.

In addition to this, during free spins, if a winning payline contains a wild symbol, players’ winnings are further multiplied by five.

The Special Superman Bonus Feature

In addition to the free spins bonus feature, there is another bonus feature in Superman called the “Save the World” bonus feature. This Superman bonus can be triggered randomly at any point during the game and takes players to another screen.

Superman then finds himself caught in a meteor shower and must make his way through it to choose one of three vault doors to unlock the mystery behind them. One of the doors will lead Superman to a group of hostages, whom he then frees, scoring players some credits in the process. Lex Luthor waits behind one of the other doors and, if Superman is able to defeat him, players can earn even bigger prizes – including up to 100x their base wagers.

If players open a door that leads to kryptonite, however, the bonus game will come to an end.
